Taking you back in time to Mollywood’s yesteryears..the Golden Era of Cinema.
Introducing the Awkwerrrd x Blankverse Comic Calendar 2027: Mallu Movie Flashbacks 🎬 - a whole year of comics inspired by Malayalam movies, characters, scenes, and pop-culture memories we've grown up loving. Bringing back some of our most beloved familiar characters like Ramanan from Punjabi House and Nandini in Kilukkam, and the iconic dialogues we've quoted endlessly making its way into our daily vocab, and more.
And yes ofcourse, each comic comes with an Awkwerrrd twist. What if these classics where set in today's time? What if Stella's pretham in Manar Mathai Speaking showed up at night when you're expecting a food delivery?
From iconic moments in Mookila Rajyathe Rajakumaran (my personal favorite!) to crowd favorite CID Moosa that have permanently occupied a tiny corner of your brain, you can now have them in print or maybe send a photo to your fellow movie nerd.
Oh, and as always, there's a glossy laminated Malayali sticker sheet tucked inside. Perfect for your laptop, notebook, water bottle, or anywhere else that needs a little mallu energy.
